Bio

as in line with the canon up to the last jedi, hux is a commanding officer of the first order (grand marshal being a more suitable title, though disallowed by snoke considering his ambitions).

an ambitious and ruthless leader, he commands with an iron fist - while reluctant to get his hands dirty, he will take charge wherever needed. his distaste for failure comes not only from his treatment from snoke, but also the history of the galactic order. he seeks to bring the first order into a new age where they may rule the stars, far more confident than their predecessors. his perfectionism and caution makes him a competent leader, and while mistakes are always made, he makes note to learn from them.

as expected, he has a poor view of kylo ren, his rival with snoke and a thorn in his side. those who ally themselves with ren are kept at arm's length, and are not deemed as entirely trustworthy. the one person he trusts the most with sensitive missions is phasma due to their history - failure on her part results in almost a crisis, masquerading as disbelief.
